The Director of European Studies University of Ghana, Professor

Ransford Gyampo said to Jerry John Rawlings that he was corrupt

and therefore cannot continue to disrespect Ghanaians and all

his successors as he wants to be respected. He stated that since

Rawlings left office, he accused other presidents of being corrupt

without any prove of evidence. Professor Gyampo's comments

"rogue and evil" . This happened during the interaction with the

Chiefs and elders of Mepe in the Volta region. Rawlings said if

going to heaven meant sharing a place with President

Rawlings has apologised, he must be told that he cannot continue
