STUDENT LOST HER LIFE UNTIMELY
The mother of this young girl named Efua Asantewaa took her
daughter to a prophetess called Efua Eguawaa who is the owner
of African faith church located at Breman Bedum in Asikuma
Odoben Brakwa District. The intention of Efua was that, the
prophetess should pray for her daughter so that she can pass well
in the WASSCE exams. The prophetess gave her a candle to hold
as she poured oil on her. Unfortunately the candle touched her
body and fire lit everywhere. She got burnt and died instantly.
The prophetess took to her heels as the body was conveyed to
Korle Bu mortuary. Asikuma police commander is still
investigating the case.
